TEACHING INTERESTS

Emiliano Bilotti is the Director of the MSc in Composites.

 

He is currently the Module leader of AERO50005-Materials 2 (MEng Aeronautical Engineering, 2nd year, Core Module), AERO70031-Emerging Technologies for Green Aviation (MSc in Advanced Aeronautical Engineering, Core Module) and AERO70027-Composites Engineering Practice (MSc in Composites Materials, Core Module).


In the past he has organised and delivered a total of more than 10 different courses (e.g. “Composites Materials for Aerospace”, “Polymers”, “Nanocomposites”), in different Institutions, which have been taught at different levels (from 1st year undergraduate to postgraduate level), to different cohorts (Materials and Engineering students) and to very different class size (30 to 300).

Emiliano Bilotti has been invited as Guest Lecturer to a number of guest lectures and courses, including the courses of “Polymer Physics” at Riga Technical University (Latvia), the short course of “Polymers” at Sichuan University (China), part of the “University Immersion Programme”, and the guest lectures on “Multifunctional Polymer Composites” at the Mae Fah Luang University (Thailand).

In 2013 he obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice (PGCAP) (from Queen Mary University of London) and he is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA).
