School of Public Health - Faculty of Medicine

BIO

My academic background is in psychology and cognitive neuroscience, with a research specialism in sleep. Before joining Imperial, I developed and led postgraduate programmes in Sleep Medicine.

At Imperial College London, I hold five substantive roles within the Faculty of Medicine, each incorporating a strong element of student wellbeing and academic support:

  • Director of EDI for Undergraduate Science (FoM)
  • Student Experience Lead, contributing to the development of our new 4 year MSci programme - Masters in Science Innovation
  • Director of the Accomplishment Group, a multidisciplinary team providing tailored support to Widening Participation students and those with complex or concurrent support needs
  • Head of Academic Tutoring for the MBBS programme, overseeing the principal system for student academic and pastoral support
  • Teaching Fellow in Psychology, contributing to the Lifestyle Medicine curriculum
  • Topic Lead for Sleep Science within the MBBS programme

My teaching spans undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I deliver core teaching on Lifestyle Medicine for undergraduate students, and in the Master’s of Public Health programme I teach applied models of behaviour change.
