TEACHING INTERESTS

My teaching activities span undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in communications, signal processing, and radar systems. I aim to provide students with a strong theoretical foundation, complemented by analytical insight into modern wireless and sensing technologies.

I currently teach and have taught the following courses:

  • Principles of Communication Systems: Fundamental concepts in analogue and digital communication systems, including modulation, noise analysis, channel modelling, and performance evaluation.
  • Advanced Communications Theory: An in‑depth treatment of modern communication theory, with emphasis on information‑theoretic limits, multi‑antenna systems, advanced modulation and coding techniques, and emerging wireless paradigms.
  • Principles of Classical and Modern Radar: Core radar theory covering classical radar concepts alongside modern radar signal processing techniques, including detection, estimation, waveform design, and adaptive array processing.

 

My teaching philosophy emphasises mathematical rigour, physical insight, and the connection between theory and real‑world engineering applications.
