BIO

Welcome!

I am an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Imperial College Business School.

My research focuses on quantitative marketing, empirical industrial organization, retail analytics, and policy evaluation.

One key area of my research explores product assortment and availability in the retail sector, examining the role of vertical relationships, such as category captaincy contracts, and their impact on innovation and new product introductions. Another stream of my work investigates the causal effect of policy changes, technological advancements, and marketing strategies on consumer decision-making and market outcomes.

You can find my latest research, including working papers and publications, on my personal website.

I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Pronunciation of my name: shin-rong
