RESEARCH

My research is situated at the intersection of composition and technology, with a specific focus on the application of mathematical sequences in composition. This involves a detailed study of the potential of these sequences to generate musical patterns and structures that mimic the ones found in the natural world.

A significant component of my research is dedicated to the exploration of music and consciousness. This includes an examination of the role of music in psychedelic treatments for depression, with an emphasis on understanding the therapeutic potential of music in this context.

Furthermore, I am conducting research on the impact of sound and music on Heart Rate Variability (HRV). The objective of this research is to develop effective strategies to mitigate chronic stress by understanding the relationship between our auditory environment and our physiological responses.

Finally, my research interests extend to the domain of sound and wellbeing. I am currently investigating the optimization of sound in various spaces, such as public spaces, workplaces, hotels, etc. with the aim of enhancing individual wellbeing. This research is predicated on the hypothesis that the careful manipulation of sound environments can have a positive impact on health and happiness.
