BIO

Stavros Ntioudis is a Research Associate at Imperial College London, where he develops multi-scale and multi-physics algorithms to bridge atomistic simulations with experimental observations. His research focuses on the growth mechanisms of thin films and the adsorption properties of lubricant additives with an emphasis on connecting fundamental atomistic processes to real-world materials behaviour.

He holds an Integrated Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Thessaly (Greece), an MSc in Advanced Materials Science and Engineering from Imperial College London (Royal School of Mines), and a PhD in Computational Engineering from Imperial College London.

Stavros is the developer of PAPRECA, an open-source kinetic Monte Carlo (kMC) solver for physics and engineering simulations. He has also worked in industry as a software engineer, developing pre-processing tools for Finite Element Analysis (FEA) workflows.
