RESEARCH

Stavros studies the fundamental atomistic mechanisms governing materials interfaces, including adsorption, diffusion, and chemical reactions. His research integrates multiscale simulations spanning quantum (DFT), molecular (MD), mesoscale (kMC), and continuum (finite element) approaches.

He is particularly interested in developing high-performance computational tools for problems in tribology and surface science.
