BIO
I am an Associate Professor in Microelectronics and Biosensors in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London. I received my PhD from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in 2015. Following this, I joined Imperial as an Imperial College Research Fellow (2015–2018) before moving to University College London (UCL), where I held lecturer positions in the Division of Surgery (2018–2021) and later in the Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering (2021–2025). I returned to Imperial in October 2025.
I am a Senior Member of the IEEE and a member of the IEEE Biomedical Circuits and Systems Technical Committee. I currently serve as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Circuits and Systems (TBioCAS) and the IEEE Open Journal of Circuits and Systems (OJCAS), and I was a Guest Editor for IEEE Sensors Letters in 2023.
I was elected to the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society Board of Governors for the 2020–2022 term and have served on the Technical Program Committees of several IEEE conferences, including Biosensors (2023–2024), BioCAS (2021–2025), ICECS (2019–2025), and ISCAS (2019–2025).
