TEACHING INTERESTS
I am the undergraduate lead for obstetrics and gynaecology and oversee all aspects of the development and delivery of the curriculum and final examinations. In this role, I support the six site leads and four teaching fellows where the specialty is taught.
For year 4 students at Imperial College, I contribute to a wide range of the BSc courses and supervise BSc projects. In addition, I am the Senior Welfare Tutor for this year and offer advice and pastoral care.
I am actively involved in medical education research and am a primary supervisor for a higher research degrees in this field.
For postgraduate trainees, I support their education as an Educational Supervisor, act as the deputy programme director for the subspecialty programme in maternal and fetal medicine and the preceptor for Medical Education for senior obstetric residents in the region.
In the past, I have written revision guides and questions for the MRCOG, which have been published by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), been a standard setter for the MRCOG Parts 1 and 2 examinations for the RCOG and written StratOG modules for the RCOG on-line learning platform.
