DrRagvir Sabharwal

Ragvir is a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Department of Economics and Public Policy at Imperial Business School. He teaches economics and econometrics across the BSc in Economics, Finance and Data Science (EFDS), the MSc in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management, the MSc in Economics and Strategy for Business, the Joint Honours BSc, and Imperial's MBA programmes. He also serves as Head of Year on the BSc EFDS programme.

Before joining Imperial in 2025, he held a range of teaching positions within the Department of Statistics and the Department of Economics at the London School of Economics (LSE), spanning BSc, MSc, PhD, summer school, and executive education programmes. He brings many years of experience in teaching, leadership, course design, and curriculum development across both online and in-person formats. 

Ragvir earned his PhD in Statistics from LSE in 2023. Prior to his PhD, he worked as a competition economist at a leading economic consultancy, advising clients on high-profile merger, cartel, and market-dominance cases across the UK and Europe.
