BIO
My research encompasses the development and utilisation of novel techniques for isotopic and concentration analyses of biological, environmental and geological samples, with applications in life and environmental sciences. Currently part of the MAGIC research group. I collaborate with scientists of diverse backgrounds (geneticists, oncologists, plant physiologists, soil scientists and analytical chemists) to conduct novel and impactful multidisciplinary research.
2025-2026 recipient of the Early Career Researcher Prominent Lecture Award (Geochemistry Group).
Current voluntary positions:
- Secretary of the Atomic Spectroscopy Interest Group (Royal Society of Chemistry), which hosts the Biennial National Atomic Spectroscopy Symposium and the A-Z in atomic spectroscopy webinar series.
- University Champion for the Geochemistry Group (a Special Interest Group of both the Mineralogical Society of Great Britain and Ireland, and The Geological Society of London).
