RESEARCH

My research explores how the regulation of gene expression, protein function and cell signalling influences genome stability, cancer and viral infection. I have investigated the roles of the CCR4–NOT complex and TAB182 in the DNA damage response and how adenoviruses manipulate host cellular processes. At the Institute of Cancer Research, I led CRISPR mutagenesis screens to identify regulators of Wnt/β-catenin signalling. My developing research interests focus on tankyrase-dependent regulation of TAB182 and its implications for gastrointestinal cancer. At Imperial, my work within the EU-funded APEAL consortium involves identifying and validating host dependency and restriction factors for RNA-based antiviral approaches.
