RESEARCH
Overview
Her research group, entitled Host-Microbes-Diet Interactomics Lab, specialises in exploring the intricate interplay between the host, diet, and gut microbiota. Using advanced techniques such as nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and mass spectrometry (MS)-based metabolic profiling, they investigate the complexities of host-microbial co-metabolism. Furthermore, employing a multidisciplinary approach that includes multi-omics, imaging, and flow cytometry, Dr. Li's team seeks to deepen the understanding of gut luminal metabolites and their roles in maintaining human health.
Research projects are available for PhD studies and Postdocs. If you are interested, please get in touch.
