TEACHING INTERESTS
Pepe contributes to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching across architecture, engineering, and urban sustainability, with a focus on systems thinking, decision-support tools, and applied, real-world learning. His teaching integrates studio-based, modelling and participatory approaches, linking design, infrastructure systems, and policy perspectives.
At Imperial College London, he has contributed to modules such as Creative Design, Constructionarium, Sketching and Modelling, and Sustainable Water Management, supporting studio-based teaching, tutorials and assessment. At University College London (The Bartlett), he has contributed to Systems Thinking and System Dynamics and Participatory Approaches for Sustainability, delivering sessions on causal loop diagrams, system dynamics modelling, and stakeholder engagement methods.
He has also delivered guest lectures at Imperial, UCL and Westminster, engaging students on urban systems, water innovation, and sustainability transitions. In addition, he contributes to student mentoring and supervision, including MSc dissertations, undergraduate projects, and outreach activities supporting progression into higher education.
