BIO

I am a Senior Teaching Fellow based at the Early Career Researcher Institute (ECRI). I sit in the Research Computing and Data Science group and lead the Software Engineering programme and co-lead the AI in Research programme.

The bulk of my teaching, though, is for the Business School, where I lead modules for the MSc Finance and MSc Management programmes and support the BSc Economics, Finance and Data Science programme. At ECRI, I lead courses on topics related to Python, Julia, GitHub, writing and publishing documentation, and software engineering best practice. I have previously supported programming modules at Imperial-X.

I am also the AI Futurist in Education for the Business School. In my role as AI Futurist, I am responsible for advancing initiatives and projects related to generative AI in teaching, learning and assessment.

I hold Masters degrees in the fields of Computing and Business Management and previously worked in Food & Beverage Management for over ten years. I have previously taught as a Lecturer in the School of Computer Science & Engineering at the University of Westminster, and as a Visiting Lecturer on the Master in Analytics & Artificial Intelligence programme at the European School of Management and Technology in Berlin.

I have retained a fractional position as Research Fellow in the Centre for Parallel Computing at the University of Westminster, where I continue to engage and publish in research along the cloud to edge continuum.
