I have been actively teaching medical students at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf since 2022, focusing on practical and applied cancer informatics. I deliver an intensive 5-day seminar each semester, introducing students to bioinformatics, machine learning, and liquid biopsy applications. Additionally, I run the “Clinic Edge” program, a weekly seminar that uses a self-developed web-based portal to train students in clinical reasoning and medical information systems. My teaching philosophy emphasizes hands-on learning, bridging the gap between computational research and clinical practice.
