I am a Research Associate in AI for Health Data Systems working on the EDAM project (Ethiopian Data Analytics and Modelling Consortium), led by Sir Roy Anderson, Kathryn Forbes and Dr Elizaveta Semenova. 

The project aims to to build a sustainable, locally owned, locally led, real time health data-to-modelling-to-policy consortium to bring evidence-based health policy across Ethiopia to address data fragmentation, improve data quality and overcome inequalities in data capture, access and use, particularly by gender and sex. The team will leverage its extensive knowledge of the Ethiopian health sector and relationships established over decades of collaborative research along with experience at Imperial in supporting the development of a consortia in modelling, data analytics and capacity building. 

I hold an honorary research fellow position at University College London (Institute for Global Health).
