Cancer Target Discovery and Prevention: Utilising human genetics, multi-omics and causal inference to identify druggable targets for cancer prevention.
- Cancer Risk and Molecular Mechanisms: Investigating how inherited genetic variation, modifiable risk factors and environmental exposures influence cancer development through changes in tumour biology, the tumour microenvironment and molecular pathways.
- Human Genetics and Multi-Omics: Applying genome-wide association studies (GWAS), Mendelian randomisation and statistical genomics to integrate genetic, transcriptomic, proteomic and other molecular data to identify and prioritise causal pathways and drug targets.
- Germline–Somatic Integration: Integrating germline genetic variation with somatic alterations and molecular phenotypes to understand the biological mechanisms underlying cancer susceptibility and development.
