Overview
Dr Normando's research is focused mainly on innovative non-invasive retinal imaging techniques and their applications in assessing novel therapeutic strategies for ophthalmic and neurodegenerative diseases.

MD in the department of Ophthalmology at Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome with a thesis on the role of the Nerve Growth Factor on tissue remodelling during vernal keratoconjunctivitis.
Phd in the department of Retinal Neurodegeneration & Glaucoma at UCL Institute of Ophthalmology with a thesis on novel imaging technologies and their use in assessing retinal diseases.
