BIO
David is a Research Associate in Professor Evina Katsou's group (Resilience and Sustainability Group) and his research aims to improve sustainable and circular decision-making procedures in water and biobased systems.
His work develops novel circularity and value creation assessments to overcome current methodological challenges across indicator selection, resource modelling/analysis, indicator calculation, and interpretation steps. His work also focuses on how these tools can be combined and complemented by conventional sustainability assessments (environmental, economic, and social), such as Life Cycle Assessment, Techno-Economic Assessment, and Carbon Footprint Analysis.
David received his MEng from the University of Bath in Chemical Engineering, before completing his PhD in Environmental Engineering from Brunel University London (funded by H2020 DEEP PURPLE).
