RESEARCH
Development of novel circularity and value creation assessment procedures to solve current methodological issues that exist for water and biobased systems (indicator selection, calculation, and interpretation).
Sustainability (environmental, economic, and social) and circularity measurement and assessment of water and biobased systems for impact hotspot analysis, process optimisation, and technology selection.
Development and application of Decision Support Systems and Tools for sustainable and circular planning in the water sector.
Integration of wider decision-making tools to support circularity and sustainability impact assessments including carbon footprint and greenhouse gas accounting procedures, Do No Significant Harms principles, material/resource flow analysis, and product-level circularity assessments.
