RESEARCH
Daniil's research interests focus on the economics, operation and planning of low-carbon electricity systems. His work covers electricity market design, coordination of short-run operations and long-run investment, demand-side and distributed energy resource flexibility, connection of new generation and storage resources, and long-term system planning under deep uncertainty.
He is also interested in renewable energy integration, energy storage, interconnection, power system resilience, optimisation and forecasting methods for electricity generation, demand and markets.
