BIO

Daniil Hulak is a Research Associate in Electricity Market Modelling at Imperial College Business School, where he works on the techno-economic design of future electricity systems, including electricity market coordination, demand and distributed energy resource flexibility, connection queue management, and long-term planning under deep uncertainty.

 

Prior to joining Imperial, he conducted research at Brunel University of London, including as a British Academy Researchers at Risk Fellow, focusing on renewable energy integration, electricity markets, power system modelling and energy forecasting.

 

Before moving into academia, he spent more than 12 years in the Ukrainian Distribution System Operator. His industry experience covered economic and operational analysis, workforce and performance analytics, and customer operations and management.
