RESEARCH
My research sits at the intersection of ethics and leadership. Specifically, I am interested in how individuals enact their moral agency in professional settings, and how organizations create incentives (unintentionally) for individuals to shift their responsibility to others or away from themselves, particularly when they face tough decisions.
My current work focuses on how individuals can stand up to authority when they feel uncomfortable with the moral implications of what they are being asked to do, and how leaders can encourage their teams to behave in ways that are consistent with their values.
