TEACHING INTERESTS

I am actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, clinically relevant teaching. My experience includes bedside teaching, small-group tutorials, and skills-based training in colorectal surgery and general surgical practice.

I have contributed to the supervision and mentoring of medical students and junior doctors, supporting both their clinical development and academic progression. My teaching approach emphasises interactive learning, critical thinking, and the application of evidence-based principles to clinical scenarios.

In addition, I am interested in the development of surgical education, including the use of simulation, structured curricula, and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes. I am committed to continuous improvement in medical education and regularly seek feedback to refine my teaching practice.
