BIO

Dr Catrin Harris researches Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) within Integrated Assessment Models (IAMs), working primarily with the IMAGE model. She is based at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development, in collaboration with PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency.

 

Her PhD at Imperial College London characterised the impact of heterogeneity on capillary trapping for geological carbon storage. Her project was part of the DTP for Transition to a sustainable zero pollution society and Science and Solutions for a Changing Planet DTP. 

 

Catrin now works in collaboration with Prof Ann Muggeridge and Prof Sam Krevor on updating estimates of the potential for geological carbon storage in Integrated Assessment Models.
