PRE-CLINICAL ASSESSMENT OF KNEE RECONSTRUCTIONS
My main research interest at Imperial was the pre-clinical assessment of knee joint reconstructions. Research projects included:
- Total Knee Replacement (TKR) Kinematics- Soft tissue strains caused by TKR- TKR Contact Characteristics- TKR Stability- Fatigue Testing of Meniscus Replacements- ACL Graft Fixation Testing- Development of bicruciate retaining TKr
OTHER PROJECTS
In addition to the projects listed above, I worked alongside several orthopaedic surgeons, assisting them in their research projects, including:
Biomechanics of high tibial osteotomy
Kinematics of unicondylar knee replacement (UKR)
Fracture fixation of the proximal humerus
Proximal femur fracture fixation
Achilles tendon rupture
Anterolateral stability of the knee joint
