RESEARCH

Bethan’s research interest is the use of routine data to build the evidence base for public health policy. Her research focuses on the impact of social and environmental factors on health and health inequality.

Key roles:

• Associate Director of the HDRUK Social and Environmental Determinants of Health Driver Programme leading research on the role of our environments in healthy ageing.
• Co-Investigator in the NIHR HPRU on Radiation Threats and Hazards. Co-leading Theme 3, Radiation Releases: Accidents and incidents.
• Co-Investigator on CRUK Cancer Data Driven Detection (CD3). Co-leading research into geospatial inequalities in cancer incidence.
