DrKaterina Koutsantoni

Katerina is the Head of Programmes Management in the Faculty of Medicine's Education Office, leading a team of 25 staff responsible for curriculum and assessments delivery of the MBBS and BMB programmes. She was previously the Education Manager for NHLI, leading the administration for undergraduate (UG), postgraduate taught (PGT) and postgraduate research (PGR) programmes. Her current remit includes such areas as stakeholder engagement with university and NHS partners, education portfolio development and expansion, business improvement and operations, staff recruitment and development.

Katerina holds a PhD in English Literature from the University of Birmingham, a BA in Applied Linguistics and English Literature from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and has completed a number of professional development courses.

Katerina has worked in education since 1992 and held managerial roles at King's College London and London Business School, before joining Imperial in October 2019.
