    Upscaling Next-Gen Lightweight Gears For a Sustainable Society

    This technology enables up to 50% weight reduction in gears compared to conventional all-steel designs by replacing the low-stress core region with lightweight materials. This reduction in mass leads to lower rotational inertia, improved transmission efficiency, and enhanced system responsiveness. In sectors such as aerospace and automotive it also translates into significant lifecycle cost savings.
