BIO

Yuscah is a dedicated Neuroscientist with a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Kent and an MSc in Translational Neuroscience from Imperial College London. During her MSc, Yuscah spent six months at the Computational, Cognitive, and Clinical Neuroimaging Laboratory (C3NL), where her research focused on Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and the impact of dopamine interventions on executive function impairments following TBI.

Driven by her passion for Neuroscience, Yuscah previously served as a Research Assistant for the Brain and Vestibular Group within the Department of Brain Sciences at Imperial College London. Most recently, she held the role of Operational Lead, overseeing a portfolio of dementia and MS projects under the supervision of Professor Paul Matthews. In this capacity, she was instrumental in facilitating and accelerating the discovery of new approaches to understanding, diagnosing, and treating dementia and MS through innovative neuroimaging technologies.

Yuscah is currrently working as Project Manager in Prof. James Flanagan's team within the Ovarian Cancer Action Research Centre (OCARC) in the Division of Cancer at Imperial College London's Department of Surgery & Cancer. In this position, she leads a newly funded multi-disciplinary project, the Cancer Loyalty Card Study-2 (CLOCS-2), focusing on the early detection of cancer. Her responsibilities include managing ethics and regulatory approvals, reporting, data management, and public and patient engagement and communication for this impactful research.
