BIO
Ying is a PhD student in the Nanoanalysis group supervised by Professor Ji-Seon Kim. Her research interest mainly focuses on organic photovoltaic technologies (e.g., organic solar cells and organic photodetectors).
Before joining Prof. Kim's group, she obtained her Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science and Engineering from Sichuan University in China and her MSc degree in Advanced Materials Science and Engineering from Imperial College. Her MSc thesis is primarily on developing new organic room-temperature maser gain medium supervised by Prof. Mark Oxborrow.
