RESEARCH
RESEARCH THEMES
See the group website at http://endian.earth for details of our research activities, but keep in mind that the website is probably out of date.
Prospective students and postdocs, please contact me to start a discussion. While projects are sometimes advertised, do feel free to suggest your own research ideas. Research is always evolving and should not be constrained by defined themes and ideas cannot be limited to those published on a website. If it is interesting, we should strive to make it happen! In developping ideas, I care most about novelty and potential, and less about popularity or 'fashionability' - if you pitch an idea, keep this in mind! The limitation is usually access to funding. While some scholarship schemes are available in-house, these are competitive so it is critical that the discussion starts early, ideally in october/november since the shortlisting process happens in january each year. If you have access to other funding scheme (from your own country, industry or self-funding), then we will work within these deadlines.
