BIO
William completed his undergraduate studies from the University of Auckland in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science and Arts conjoint degree, majoring in Chemistry, Biology and Statistics. In 2017 he graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Chemical Sciences with First Class Honours. William recieved his PhD from the University of Auckland in 2022 supervised by Prof. Christian Hartinger and Prof. James Wright to research heterobimetallic supramolecular architectures as model systems for drug delivery, and completed his viva in October 2022. In early 2023 he moved to the UK to begin working as a postdoctoral research associate with Prof. Nick Long at Imperial College London where he has been researching metal-based and organic derivatives as additives in optoelectronic devices and functional materials.
