TEACHING INTERESTS
At the Dyson School of Design Engineering, Wei teaches and supervises students across areas including Work in Organisations, Innovation Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Industry Placement, and the MSc Design with Behavioural Science Master’s Project.
Her teaching helps design engineering students connect technical and creative ideas with human behaviour, user needs, organisational contexts and business viability. She supports students in turning academic concepts into practical tools that they can test, apply and reflect on through projects, placements and industry-facing work.
Wei is committed to helping students build confidence, develop professional judgement and shape their own direction as designers, engineers, researchers and future innovators. She values the contribution of industry partners in creating a relevant and practice-based learning experience.
She welcomes professionals and organisations interested in delivering guest talks, contributing to industry events at Imperial, sharing live business challenges or supporting employability-focused teaching. These collaborations give students direct insight into current professional practice and create meaningful links between education, industry and future career opportunities.
