MrWilliam George Henderson

William is the NHS Library Liaison and Evidence Services Manager for NHS Library Services at Imperial having previously been the manager of Charing Cross Campus Library and one of the 6 Liaison Librarians for Medicine and Biomedical Science at Imperial.

Before joining Imperial, William worked for UCL and was previously the Head of Library and Evidence Services at Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS FT.

In his current role William is responsible for delivery of library services at the Charing Cross Campus, leading the team locally to ensure the library offers a accessible, welcoming and useful study space for students, staff and NHS colleagues. As well as the study space, William ensures the Charing Cross Library collection reflects learning, teaching, and research needs of the Medical School.

William also works with the five other Liaison Librarians for Medicine to plan, design and deliver cross-campus library inductions and information literacy teaching, such as health database searching techniques and one-on-one support with systematic reviews.

In addition to his Librarianship degree, William has a PGCert in Research Methods for Health.
