TEACHING INTERESTS
Vito currently teaches the first year Materials course to the students of Aeronautical Engineering, as well as Lightweight Structures, an optional module offered to undergraduate and MSc cohorts. The first module presents the fundamentals of mechanics of materials and solid mechanics. The second covers advanced mechanics of composites, cellular solids, and sandwich structures.
In the past, he also taught Foundations of Mechanics, Aircraft Structures, Materials Modelling, Materials in Action, Experimental Methods, and all design, make and break exercises offered to undergraduate students in year 1, 2 and 3.
