BIO
Vignesh Sridharan is a Research Associate in optimisation modelling at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Imperial College London. At Imperial, he leads integrated energy system modelling efforts in the Lao People's Democratic Republic (PDR) as part of the Climate Compatible Growth (CCG) project. He leads the college's efforts in developing an integrated climate, land use, energy, and water systems (CLEWs) model for the EU and the UK. Vignesh completed his PhD at the KTH-Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden. His research focuses on the nexus between Water, Energy and Food (WEF) systems and has been published in high-impact journals such as Nature Communications. He has contributed to collaborative work supporting energy systems planning for organisations like the World Bank, UNDESA, and UNECE.
