Verity Leeson works as an Operations Manager in the Imperial Clinical Trials Unit (ICTU) and serves as Institutional Lead for the NIHR Research Support Service (RSS) Imperial College London and Partners Hub.

In her role with the RSS, Verity leads the clinical trials expert team for Imperial College London and Partners Hub, where she works with academic, clinical, and commercial clients to design and develop research funding applications. She is also Research Capacity Lead for the hub, part of a national working group tasked with the professional development of RSS advisors across the country through training and peer support.

At ICTU, Verity oversees the operations of clinical trials across various therapeutic areas. Her role involves collaborating with investigators from initial concept development and grant application submission to managing the full study lifecycle, ensuring successful research delivery. She provides expertise in ethical and regulatory submissions, study setup, pharmacovigilance, trial staff management, and financial and contractual arrangements.
