DrTim Wolock

I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Imperial College HIV Inference Research Group. I develop statistical methods and tools to improve estimation of population-level HIV epidemic indicators. My work focuses on synthesising traditional methods from infectious disease epidemiology with hierarchial Bayesian methods to estimate the spatial dynamics of HIV over small geographic units in Eastern and Southern Africa. I am particularly interested in the development and applications of multivariate statistical models in epidemiology and social science.
