BIO

Tara Tanoz-Sargeant is a Managing Associate at the Transport Strategy Centre (TSC) within the Centre for Transport Studies at Imperial College London. Tara works with the Mainline and Suburban Rail benchmarking groups (IMRBG and ISBeRG),

She has a background in both practical and academic aspects of transport studies; before joining the TSC, Tara worked as a Senior Transport Modeller at the UK Department for Transport responsible for updating modelling guidance, and modelling software contracts for Transport Appraisal and Strategic Modelling prior to that, Tara worked in the Transport Planning division of AECOM where she was involved in micro-simulation and strategic modelling projects across various high-profile international assignments.

Tara has an undergraduate degree in Geography and a Masters degree in Transportation Planning & Engineering both from University of Southampton and a Masters degree in Public Policy and Management from SOAS
