DrTejasvi Shivakumar

I am a postdoctoral researcher in synthetic biology based at the Department of Chemical Engineering. I am working on several synthetic biology projects in the Polizzi lab, primarily employing cell-free protein synthesis using various chassis organisms for a wide range of applications in extreme and low-resource environments. Before this, I was a PhD student (2019 - 2023) in 'Astromedicine and Astropharmacy' in the Faculties of Science and Engineering at the University of Nottingham.
