MrTim Ovenden

As a member of the Great Service Programme, I work alongside a multi-disciplinary team to deliver changes to our Finance, Human Resources, and Research administration processes to improve the services provided across the University and support Imperial in reaching its strategic goals.

In my role as a Process Outcome Designer, I act as the link between the programme, the departments who deliver our services, and our users across the University. With this oversight, the team will be able to design and implement new ways of working that deliver reliable services that meet the needs of our diverse and varied departments. The multi-disciplinary nature of the programme team will allow us to deliver change that is joined-up across areas that are currently separate, allowing a seamless service for users across the University.

Prior to joining the Great Service Programme, I was the Faculty Finance Officer for the Faculty of Natural Sciences, and previously held Financial Management roles in the School of Public Health and Faculty of Medicine. I joined Imperial in 2006 as a Grants Administrator in Research Services. I aim to bring this breadth of experience to the programme to create joined-up, user-centric services that improve the experience of everyone that interact with them.
