BIO
I am a Principal Teaching Fellow in the Department of Life Sciences. My background is plant sciences and the biotransformation of wood preservatives, and I lead first year teaching on the Biological Sciences BSc degree stream.
In first-year Biological Sciences, I convene the Biological Chemistry & Microbiology module, and teach on the Cell Biology & Genetics, and Evolution & Diversity modules. In the final-year of both Biological Sciences and Biochemistry/Biotechnology degrees, I convene our Science Communication module.
I am a departmental LGBTQ+ Champion, and my pronouns are he/him/his.
