BIO
Simon is currently a PhD candidate within the Medical Cannabis Research Group led by Dr Mikael Sodergren, exploring a research interest in the role of medical cannabis in treating chronic pain.
A medical doctor, he qualified from Imperial College London in 2018, also completing an intercalated BSc in Surgery and Anaesthesia.
Simon's research focuses on the UK Medical Cannabis Registry, through which he examines patient outcomes and safety data to enhance understanding and support evidence-based applications of cannabis in medicine. This work has been recognised twice through awards from the Japanese Society of Psychopharmacology.
Simon is dedicated to teaching and received a Teaching Excellence Award from the Imperial College School of Medicine in recognition of this.
