Silvestre has taught Structures 2 to the MEng in Aeronautics since 2026. The module introduces matrix methods for statics and dynamics.The teaching methods include traditional lectures, small class tutorials, a website with interactive animations, computational tutorials, a physical vibrations lab with an aicraft model, and a Virtual Reality vibrations lab also with an aircraft model. In addition, Silvestre has also taught in the past other modules related to Structures, Finite Elements and Composite Materials. Silvestre won various awards for his teaching, including from Imperial College and from the Student Union (see mode details here).
