In this research, I am involved in investigating present-centered attention and awareness i.e. mindfulness of employees and their leaders. He has been involved in understanding the benefits of mindfulness for self and how mindfulness can help in leading teams effectively and overall improve employee mental health and performance.

Leadership and Genetics

In this area, apart from considering leadership behaviours as a situational factor in developing followers, I am also working on studies that examine the interaction of genetic basis and environmental factors on behaviours (e.g. leadership, entrepreneurship, etc.). We have access to the Swedish twin registry of over 25000 twins to further our research in this stream.

Collaboration in Teams

My research in this area examines issues related to multi-dimensional framework of collaboration within teams. I study various mechanisms that can support or restrict diversity, trust/ distrust for understanding the facets of collaboration in teams. Furthermore, I am interested in the antecedents and consequences of collaboration in teams in different contexts.
