BIO
I am a PhD student in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London. My research focuses on anomaly detection in big data, particularly for sensor, network, and signal data. I apply advanced techniques such as tensor decomposition to model high-dimensional data and uncover hidden structures that indicate abnormal or unexpected behavior.
Before beginning my PhD, I earned both my M.Sc. (2017) and B.Sc. (2015) in Software Engineering from the Institute of Information Technology, University of Dhaka. I also have several years of university-level teaching experience, having served as a lecturer at both the Islamic University of Technology (IUT) and East West University (EWU) in Bangladesh. During this time, I taught undergraduate courses in programming, software engineering, machine learning, and gained valuable experience mentoring students and developing course materials.
In addition to my research and teaching, I have published several papers in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. I actively contribute to the academic community by serving as a peer reviewer for various international journals and conferences in the fields of data science, machine learning, and intelligent systems.
