My group uses integrative structural biology approach, combining multidisciplinary computational and experimental biophysical techniques to understand molecular mechanisms. The lab is currently supported by a UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship and a Wellcome Discovery Award. 


Research focus areas include:

Mitochondrial quality control pathways involved in ageing and age-related disorders;
Biology of viral vectors and nanoparticles; 
Lipid modulation: ligand-like binding to membrane proteins; large scale membrane remodelling; rational design of lipid-like molecules in biotherapeutics


Research methods include:

Molecular modelling and simulation; X-ray crystallography; cryo-EM and electron cryo tomography
