Outreach and Public Engagement Activities
As NHLI's Divisional Lead for Outreach, Prof. Sara Rankin is involved in a variety of public engagement and outreach activities. She runs regular stem cell workshops for pupils and teachers, participates in public debates, has been interviewed by the BBC and has collaborated with artist Gina Czarnecki as the lead scientist in the Sci-Art project, Wasted, exhibited in 2011 and in Palaces, exhibited in 2011-2012, with ample media coverage.
